Coexistence

Artificial intelligence is no longer emerging. It's here—reshaping how we learn, work, and create at a pace unprecedented in technological history.

Coexistence - AI and Human Collaboration

The conversation around AI has largely been dominated by two narratives: fear and blind optimism. Neither serves us well. Fear leads to paralysis and missed opportunity. Blind optimism leads to dependency and erosion of the very capabilities that make us valuable. We believe there's a third path: coexistence.

The Amplifier Effect

AI is fundamentally an amplifier. It doesn't generate signal—it takes what exists and extends its reach. Feed it clarity, and it scales clarity. Feed it confusion, and it scales confusion.

This distinction matters.

Research from Stanford and MIT demonstrates that AI integration increased worker productivity by 14% on average in a study of over 5,000 customer support agents—with the most significant gains concentrated among less experienced workers, who improved by up to 35%. But the operative word is integration. The gains don't come from the technology itself—they come from how humans choose to engage with it.

The market is already recognizing this. According to Lightcast's analysis of 1.3 billion job postings, roles requiring AI skills command salaries 28% higher on average—roughly $18,000 more per year. For those with multiple AI skills, the premium jumps to 43%. The premium isn't for using AI. It's for thinking with it.

Using AI vs. Thinking With AI

There's a meaningful difference between these two modes of engagement.

Using AI means accepting outputs without interrogation. It's passive. It treats AI as an oracle to be obeyed rather than a companion to collaborate with.

Thinking with AI requires something more: the ability to formulate precise problems, evaluate response quality, integrate multiple sources, and—critically—decide what shouldn't be delegated at all. It demands that we strengthen our cognitive foundations, because if AI amplifies who we are, we have a responsibility to ensure what it amplifies is worth amplifying.

AI systems update continuously. The uncomfortable question is whether we're evolving alongside them.

Beyond Individual Optimization

The dominant narrative positions AI adoption as a personal productivity hack. Download an app. Subscribe to a service. Figure it out alone.

This framing misses something essential.

Sustainable coexistence isn't an individual project—it's a collective one. It requires spaces where we can openly debate what to automate and what to preserve. Where we establish shared frameworks for privacy, transparency, and accountability. Where access to AI literacy isn't determined by geography or economic circumstance.

The opportunity AI presents is enormous. So is the risk that its benefits concentrate among those already positioned to capture them, while others face exposure to bias, misinformation, and displacement without adequate preparation.

Building a future where AI augments human potential broadly—not just for the few—requires intentional community, not isolated optimization.

Why We're Here

This is our first public statement. A declaration of intent.

At Soy Un Glitch, we've spent the past year quietly building something we believe the world needs.

We're not ready to reveal everything yet. But here's what we can tell you:

We're building for the people who refuse to choose between fear and blind faith. For those who understand that the real advantage isn't access to AI—it's knowing how to think alongside it. For communities tired of being left behind while Silicon Valley debates the future without them.

We're not interested in the fear narrative. We're also not selling utopia.

We're focused on the harder, more valuable work: helping people develop the intellectual capacity to learn, adapt, and thrive amid constant change—and doing it together.

The question isn't whether AI will transform how we live, learn, work, and create. That's already happening.

The question is who we choose to become in response.

We have an answer.
